June 20, 2006 – Nokia, a world leader in mobile communications, and Navicore, one of the leading mobile navigation providers in Europe, today announced availability of bundled Navicore Personal 2006/1 satellite navigator for mobile phones and Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-3W in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Navicore Personal is the easy-to-use GPS-navigator that is specifically developed for smart phones and therefore provides the most convenient and easiest way to finding destinations while driving a car, cycling or walking. It is a full navigation system for in-car use but also a convenient pocket guide outside the car including thousands of points-of-interest such as restaurants, hotels, petrol stations and local tourist venues. Navicore Personal has clear map display on mobile phone’s screen and voice guidance in multiple languages, including Czech and Slovak. Additionally, Navicore Personal includes innovative features such as location messaging which allows users to text their location and map to friends, colleagues and family. As Navicore Personal is installed locally on mobile phone and doesn’t require network connection, the basic use is free of charge.

The Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-3W connects to a compatible phone, PC, or PDA using Bluetooth wireless technology, and works with a number of different applications. It is small (78.4 x 45.4 x 16.5 mm) and lightweight (65 g) with minimum operating time 15h and standby time up to 7 days. Most advanced Sirf Star III GPS receiver with 20 parallel channels offers typical accuracy of 5-10 metres, 1 second update time and approximately 45s/2s (cold/hot start) acquisition times.

Navicore Personal 2006/1 and Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-3W is sold in retail stores as a complete ready-to-go package containing everything necessary to start navigating straight away.  The following is included in the box:

• CD-ROM containing Navicore Personal 2006/1 application with the latest Central Eastern Europe maps from Tele Atlas including Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and major roads from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Moldova and Croatia.

• Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-3W featuring the SiRF III GPS chip. This makes it possible to receive an accurate signal even if placed in a bag, a pocket or in the glove compartment of a car.

• Nokia DD-10 memory card reader

• Nokia Battery BL-5C

• Mobile Charger DC-4

Availability

Navicore Personal 2006/1 CEE for Symbian series 60, series 80 & UIQ together with Nokia Wireless GPS Module LD-3W bundle is available in Czech Republic as of 12^th June 2006 and Slovakia as of 19^th June 2006. The estimated retail price of the bundle in Czech Republic is about 6000 CZK and in Slovakia 8000 SKK.

Navicore Personal 2006/1 is available in different retail sales packages based on supported phones and included map areas.
