Navicore Extension Editor is a PC-utility that can be used to convert “Points of Interest” data to be used with Navicore products. Navicore Extension Editor can read several file formats and create extension packets that will work with Navicore Products. Extensions can be installed to the phone by copying the created extension packet to the memorycard.
When the POI extension is installed, a new POI category will appear in your Navicore product. You can search POI items and set proximity alerts for POI categories (e.g. you can create new POI-type Speed Cameras, and set Navicore Personal to play an alert sound every time you approach a camera).
Extension Editor works only with Windows® 98 Second Edition / ME, 2000, XP or Vista.
Important note: to use the POI data created with Navicore Extension Editor, you will need Navicore Personal software with software version 1.1 or higher except Series 80 1.1 RC5 Patch 1.
Navicore Extension Editor is designed for advanced users, you need to have basic knowledge of coordinates and computers.
