Extensions offer a way to add useful content to your navigator. They make for instance traveling with public transportation easier, expand the selection of available voice sets or even guide you to the nearest ATM whenever cash is needed. From Navicore Update you can easily install service extensions to Navicore Personal.
What are Points of Interest and how do they work?
The features of Navicore Personal can be enriched with users’ own Points of Interest (POI). These Points of Interest can be installed as extension files to Navicore Personal, according to following instructions. Once installed, the extensions are shown on the map and work similarly to the initial POI-categories included in the Navicore Personal product, such as restaurants, hotels and gas stations. In addition to name and location Points of Interest include usually also other useful information, like phone number, WWW-link or more details about the destination.
